Game of Bassotto
SRISA, Florence, Italy
2025, Graphic Design Studio
Our prompt for this project was to take inspiration from the classic board game, Game of Goose, to create our own personal board games that represent the the route we walk from our apartment to the SRISA campus. I included different landmarks I pass by, along with some of my favorite shops and cafes. To take the place of the goose in the gameplay, I chose the dachshund dog breed, or in Italian, bassotto, since I would see many of them while walking around in Florence.
This was a collaborative project where we partnered with a classmate who took a different route to campus, so that our paths would meet in the middle.
The work of my partner, Jamie Cox, is in green, and my work is in black.
